This must be a Reality render....I think you did an excellent job! I'm still working on getting skin textures to look half as hood as this....

Awesome ! I'm really impressed by such realistic, especially under DAZ Studio!!! What model of character did you use ? This is a texture "home-made" ? Do you have made yourself the bump?

@MAjh, It's actually a scan from a university research test. I redid the textures to work better & more realistically in the render. Mec4D was also testing this same model out and has very similar results (you have to see them to believe them, they are amazing! Mec4D Sample1 Mec4D Sample2 @StevieC Actually it is an Octane render from a D|S export. Given that Reality/Luxrender is also unbiased, you can achieve similar results. It's all a matter of having proper base maps & the right settings in the shader for whichever render engine you're using. I'll be posting a couple of recent Reality tests for skin/hair realism here soon :-) @Richardson Thank you. There was no alt spec actually since the shader was built in Octane. Just diffuse color, normals, specular map, and a bloodmap for control of the scattering & "juicyness". The DOF camera blur & tonemapping were all done in Octane, with just a little post to enhance the "soft cinema" feel of the image & set the matte and titles.
