Hello fans, I kind of killed the computer where the CAD-program is installed, that's why I tried something else in the meantime. Calculated the complete mesh in grapher and used Tecplot for visualization. As Tecplot can only generate planar surface elements, the outer parts look a bit flaky. Contour colour is just the elevation above the midplane. R=R_0*2^(phi/360deg) X=R*(3.5+sin(psi))*cos(phi) Y=R*(3.5+sin(psi))*sin(phi) Z=R*cos(psi) phi=180deg*psi (meaning the mesh is a helix around the helix) Grapher 2.03 TecPlot 9.0 Photopaint 7 Thanx 4 viewing (try it full size), hope the software situation remains only temporary WIL
