Nothing wrong with boolean shapes. They look right for what you have done. Good image! One tip though - when something passes at speed over water the displaced air will create a disconnected (visually) wake behind it. Your two lower ships should exhibit this sort of phenom. Not sure how it could be done except by post render tweak in a photo-ed pkg. If you find a way please let us know.

This looks absolutely amazing...love the water texture..WOW!!..LOVE THE FEEL OF SPEED ALSO. The disconnected "wake" behind the ship can be created in photoshop by selecting the area of the water in the shape of the wake you want to create, then cut and paste it . Use the glass or ripple filter to create a wave with this layer. You may need to use the blending mode to blend it properly and lowering the opacity also.

WOW! I love this scene! How do you do those lagoons and shallow seas so realistically??? The lighting is very well done too...I give it a 10 :)

The sheer beauty of this scene makes me gasp. So spacious and the colors so gorgeous. Wonderful sense of speed and the jet trails are masterful.

I agree with the comment above, that there is a real sense of speed showing here! And distance, also. Those ships must be going fast!
