Description

Back to flower carpets. The Quinlan Mountains are where Kitt Peak and the famous solar telescope are located. When driving from Tucson to Kitt Peak, there are vast fields of these tiny yellow flowers for several miles, during the right season. Once you pass the turnoff to Kitt Peak, California poppies, owl clover, and other flowers take over; the bladderpods are gone. Arizona, USA. The reason for the strange sky color is that at the time, all I had was a point-and-shoot, and it usually did this to skies, unfortunately.
