Description
A few months ago I was invited to attend a 50th birthday party for a Nigerian King, during the evening a ceremony was held called The breaking of the Kola Nut. It is a symbolic gesture that emphasizes the unity of the tribe. Only the Tribal Elders are allowed to participate. So, when one of the Elder, who officiated during the ceremony, turned to me and said, "If you were a member of our Tribal Nation you would be considered an Elder." Upon which he handed me the sacred Kola nut and we broke and consumed them together as a show of ancient unification. Needless to say I was honored. When working with Lens parameter,"Ooh,Ooh that small",the tweaking produced what appeared to be a stylized image of the Kola tree with a nut behind it. So I dedicate this image to Chief Philip and the gracious members of his Tribe. Enjoy!

I don't know which is more awesome, the fact that you participated in the ceremony or the render. I can tell you that the story makes it far more interesting. Nice job.

Used to chew a few Kola Nuts when working in Ghana, nice prolonged Caffine Buzz, taste like crap though. We were invited to quite a few different types of Ceremonies and Rituals in the years working across Africa, unforgetable experiences indeed. Super work my friend. Peace
