Description
This isn't what really happened in the Italian film, "Malena," but there is a sexy scene involving her needing a light. Kapitan Andreas Schmidt is the creation of Powerage, which also produced the MOM crowd. SAV Sonia, a remarkable likeness of the famous Malena actress, was created by Studio Art Vartanian. I decided not to add swastikas to the uniform.
If you don't mind English subtitles, watch the movie (2000).

magnus073
You did an absolutely marvelous job in bringing this scene from the movie to life
romangirl
Thanks Johan and MTeslaMoon. It was inspired by the Italian movie, "Malena," and there was a scene involving men offering her multiple lights. No, this didn't really happen in the movie. But because she was sleeping with the Nazis, the Italian women in her village beat her up unmercifully.
romangirl
Thank you, Magnus! But this didn't really happen in the movie. See my comment.
romangirl
I made Malena a heroine. She really wasn't. Thinking her soldier husband Nino was killed while fighting the Germans, she did what she did best to survive. She slept around.....with the Italian men in her village, and with Nazi officers. That enraged the Italian women! And when the Nazis left......But all's well that ends well. Nino came back and the village women welcomed her back into the village. Now ya know!

If I were her I'd move after being beaten up. lol Nice looking lady. :)
romangirl
She did. But then she returned with Nino. Thanks!
romangirl
She didn't just move. She was booted from her village.

Reminds me a bit of that story about that Mandolin playing Italian Officer, starring Nicolas Cage. Lovely image! DO keep up the good work!! David PS: Happy Passover!

When I saw the thumbnail I knew right away which movie it was from. I remember seeing it when it first came out, Monica Belluci is so beautiful. It's a sad movie.
romangirl
But, DominiqueB, at least the ending was happy. Not relialistic, but happy. All of a sudden the women who beat her up, cut her hair, and forced her out of town, welcomed her back when she returned with her hero husband.
