I have a question for you....
Do you like these? Would you buy them if they were on sale here? They'll have some utility pose files and some special fx with them as well but those will be (mostly) unique to each color pack. I have seen a lot of what is out there, so these will be something mostly different from what you usually find. They will come all ready to install and include all the mats and pose files necessary for the entire eye. All Iris, Pupil, Sclera, Cornea, and Lacrimal MATs are new, clean and unique and all made by me. They will not be rehashes of other products. Lashes and reflection MATs will likely be from merchant resources by others.
This set of eye colors was made for someone in particular, but I have been toying with this in my head for a few weeks now because I love eyes and always have. They are "the windows of the soul". I think they should be vibrant and richly colored rather than pale and bleh. Even when I was painting my art on canvas, before the advent of digital 3D art, I would spend over-long on the eyes compared to anything else in the picture relatively speaking. They can say so much without ever uttering a sound.
These eyes will work on either V4 or M4 in the Poser Pro series (2010 and 2012).

I encourage you to proceed. These are gorgeous. I am especially attracted to brown because it suits my penchant for middle east characters, but I know that is not your main point here. Yes, I spend a lot of time choosing eyes as well, because lifeless eyes can destroy an entire image and they are a bear to fix in postwork. I have a few go to favourites that seem to work well in pp2012 and I will usually swap them in and replace what the vendor supplies...sssshhh! These I can see using a lot, they would be added to my small go to set and greatly expand its depth. I would love to have Ursala's eyes. I have problem with many eye sets showing up as glassy elven eyes in pp2012 that looked fine in poser 7. They render fine but look black in preview. Don't know how common that is or just a whacky setting I have but I would look to make sure that doesn't happen. Sounds like you have put a lot of thought and effort into the project... now it is time to test the waters.

An excellent idea...and i imagine that they will go down well my friend...a utiity to change the eyes of a character without having to go through several characters is a great thought..lets hope there are some nice gothic eyes or glowing ones to come as well !!!!...excellent get them out there before someone else steals the idea !!!!!

Go for it, Rayven! I'm always on the lookout for good-looking eyes. Like Roxy, I often find myself experimenting with different eyes for my characters (for instance, G4's eyes in the TNA series have been changed many times..). These look really good!

That's a wonderful set of eyes. A lot of nice variations on tone and great detail. They look fabulous and I think they'll go over splendid in the RMP.

This eyes are fantastic and i think they will do well in the Mp.. You can never get to much eyes for a character :)
