Splendid collection of shadows Harry, I especially like the ones from the light switch

Artistic Harry. I'll bet a forensics expert could almost lift finger prints off the light switch:) You've captured a lot here...shadows, parallel lines, textures. Oops, I sound like I am reading your title back to you. Nice work.

Most interesting shot. I see the stairs have carpet, very swish.

In 'minimal' works like this, one relies on detail, detail, detail; but too much detail makes it non-minimal. Well, you got minimal & you got detail, but not too much detail: They all work as one. The texture of the wall is terrific, and your angle (and lens/camera work) allowed the crevices in the wall to coalesce as we look back---a natural product of perspective, I know, but your shot shows it very vividly here. And the shadows on the wall soften some of that detail too. This is minimalist beauty, simple patterns morphing into space, with light & shadow adding the only necessary transformations. Also, the big swath of shadow, top right, is balanced by the chunk of stairwell, bottom left. In between? A fest of diagonals, peaked by the shadows around the light switch. Minimalist & very expressive...and the light is restful and subtle. This is one dynamite series, Harry. I'll be back for more soon. (Both these shots, today, are favs.)
