I agree with Rod, I immediately thought of the westerns of the 80's when I saw that. She would have been a great addition to a Clint Eastwood film! Love the atmosphere too. You are such a good artist, Fujiko-san. :) I didn't see this while I was out of town, and missed it somehow, and I'm hoping for the best for your eye surgery and a complete recovery!
