Here sits the Dummy in his ivory throne,
never knowing his thoughts aren't his own.
And here is the Ventriloquist, partially shown.
The power behind the Dummy's dome.
But what of our dummy's benefactor?
Is he too just another pawn?
This powerful, behind the scenes actor.
Is his voice also on loan?
And here's a thought just as obnoxious:
Keep it in mind as you roam.
Perhaps the Ventriloquist is just our subconcious.
We all have lights on, but nobody's home.Â

Our drive-in theater closed up about 22 years ago (and I miss it). Parking the station wagon backwards in it's spot and opening the back up so as to lay down with my girl (at that time) and watch a flick. Thanks for the memories!

Ours is still alive and kick'n here in my small town of Jefferson Wisconsin...We go when ever they have a triple feature...Once a month they show 3 movies from the 70's and 80's and call that night flash back Friday nights...something about drive in burgers and fries....yum yum....Nowadays there is no speakers to put in your car...Ours have you turn to a frequency on your own radio. Can't recall how many times we pulled away with the speaker still attached...lol....

HELLO! .... REMEMBER them WELL! .... My FAV 'trick' was to get there 'early' and pick my BEST spot .... Then, as the cars came in later, T.P. looked over to see IF girls or GUYS in car .... IF GUYS, shouted out my window, 'THAT SPEAKER IS BROKEN'! ... Said guys MOVED on .... Lather, Rinse, Repeat until CAR full of GIRLS .... GRINS.
