Description

You're looking south, from a vantage point across the road from Peridot Mesa. The plant in the foreground on the right is an Ocotillo. The plant in the foreground on the left is a Chaparral. Both are medicinal. Ocotillo blossoms can be used to make a nice punch, and hummingbirds like them. The Chaparral has many medicinal uses, but the tea made from it is bitter. So they recommend that you take the tea outside, thank God for the mountains, and then, looking at the mountains, drink the tea. Having tried it, I can assure you it works!
