Description
I did a painting/photo-manipulation back in the late 90s, similar to this, way before I knew that 3D programs could be used by "normal" people. Decided to recreate it.
The ripples are a terrain with a heightmap made in Photoshop, using concentric circles. Fish and lilypads made by Toucan(freebies) with an altered map
Not to be confused with the Animal Planet tv show "Rivermonsters", where some guy travels the world catching the biggest, meanest fish, only to toss them back. There's also a reality show where a bunch of "Deliverance" type guys catch big catfish, barehanded. She ain't one of them.

nice Brycing Dave...the wetness on her right arm looks a wee bit off, maybe more obvious dripping would give reason for the high specularity on it...great image tho....over all

The fish looks quite happy, in a fish-y way, which doesn't seem unreasonable. I'm sure she's going to put it back after she's cuddled it. Yes, the wetness of her hair doesn't match the apparent wetness of her skin, but the ripples and atmosphere more than make up for that. The idea's the thing.
