Description
Very long distance shot from the other side of the lake, captured 4/5/12, at the semi beautiful El Dorado Nature Center in beautiful Long Beach, California.
A ZOOM is highly recommended.
Just one of several bridges in the Nature Center, either over the lake itself or the auxiliary river.
The folks on the right are looking at the turtles on the rafts below, closeup pics of which I have a ton/tonne of in my files.
Cheerio, thankx for stopping by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

It appears the young couple are watching you. Nice shot of the lovely scene.

morningglory: I was so far away I must have looked like a tiny dot from that distance.

I've just gotten back, & am just doing a few this morning, but I couldn't let the morning go without getting to this: It's a dreamy, soft, impressionistic and vision-like piece, with a beautiful play between the soft 'frosted' water and the clean lines of the bridge and trees directly behind. The shadows in the trees are also dreamy (making the trees like down), and the edges of the shot feel like they've been caressed by age or time (even though they're straight forward & clear). A beautiful dreamy capture, with a forest behind which looks like all the folklore of the world took place there. (The forest primeval.) Beautiful. And the people bring us back to the present, a nice touch...

A beautiful shot against the green background. I also like the reflection on the rippled water!
