My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I second all the congratulations on 1900! (I'm still in the early 300's---this is a big achievement!) And you celebrate with the simplest image in the world, which has, all the same, a wonderful boldness and poetr, all at the same time. In full-view, the rope is thick and sensuous; and because it's so white and has that gentle blue, there's something delicate about it as well. (If it were hemp, for example, with hemp color, it would be far less delicate.) You let its hues & feel sing boldly. Then the surrounding---a simple chrome beam, a soft faded background, a touch of white, and a perfect slab of green---all provide the most basic contrasts, backings, etc. I love that green space, it's a perfect touch, almost as if added for balance. (I know you didn't add it, but it's beautifully seen & included.) Simple but bold, you gave some of your real essences in your 1900th; and you did it without fanfare or to-do: Just a big beautiful shot, with real grace. I hope for lots lots more to come. A great art gallery.
