Description
OK, I found sample picture from "Scene by Patrick Merminod" showing post processing to get B&W look. For those of you that have Vue 9 Esprit it is a cool one. You will see even though I used the models to show a similar scene, I think it is different enough to not be stepping on the artist toes since other than using the same models it the only other thing it is a render of a plane dog fight. It took 2 plus days to render so I am way behind on my comments, sorry.
On personal note spent last night in the ER. Diagnosis is I will live...LOL. Likely had a TIA, which kind of makes sense if you think of blood vessels as pipes. I just start taking my heart med. again after not being on it for months. That would allow my arteries to clog up again. When I restarted my med. It was like a drain opener and release clumps of icky stuff into the pipes and caused a clog somewhere...LOL. Of course as I was on my way to hospital I started to feel a lot better, but try telling my wife to turn around..LOL. Luckily this time I had insurance.
For Rob:
The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang was an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II, the Korean War and several other conflicts. During World War II, Mustang pilots claimed 4,950 enemy aircraft shot down, second only to the Grumman F6F Hellcat among Allied aircraft.
When the Fw 190 started flying operationally over France in August 1941, it quickly proved itself to be superior in all but turn radius to the Royal Air Force's main front-line fighter, the Spitfire Mk. V.[1] The 190 wrested air superiority away from the RAF until the introduction of the vastly improved Spitfire Mk.
wikipedia
The Avro Lancaster is a British four-engined Second World War heavy bomber designed and built by Avro for the Royal Air Force (RAF). It first saw active service with RAF Bomber Command in 1942 and, as the strategic bombing offensive over Europe gathered momentum, it became the main heavy bomber used by the RAF, the RCAF, and squadrons from other Commonwealth and European countries serving within the RAF, overshadowing its close contemporaries the Handley Page Halifax and Short Stirling.[1] The "Lanc", as it was affectionately known,[2] thus became the most famous and most successful of the Second World War night bombers, "delivering 608,612 tons of bombs in 156,000 sorties."[3]

This looks fantastic. Super great render! I love the distancing of the planes. Glad you're feeling better, buddy. I had to look up "TIA" and it does make sense the way you explained it which was easy to understand. Take care!

Well....THIS is a surprise! Well done AND top work on this! I love the info, always glad have useful info lol Good to see Lancaster's in the daylight role.. They were used occasionally on this though obviously having Matt black undersides, mainly at night.. The Fw190, a lethal machine in the right hands right up to the end of the war.. And as you put saw control of the Channel taken away from the RAF for a while! Not good.. Great job all around! More mate, more.. And THANKS for the dedi.. Rob
