Description
This was taken at the site of the SS Great Britain in Bristol, I thought it appropriate with the departure of Titanic 100 years ago.
The SS Great Britain was the first ironclad steam ship.
Sorry about the reflections!

How very timely, and reminiscent of the Titanic! It really could represent a departure of a young lad on the Titanic. Nice work!

The reflections tell a story of their own - complete the location and mood of his departure. Very well done, Clive

Do NOT apologise for the reflections! They make the shot, imho. Seeing the ship gives context to the figures, and the modern-day people give it a personal, immediate feel, rather than just some far-off history. This is outstanding work!

wow this is surreal looking

At first I didn't even notice the reflections Jeff - well some of them (like the ship I did) but others I didn't - and the shot tells such a lovely story. The other reflections - the modern ones- as others have said just adds a sense of the here and now to the whole. A very nice shot Jeff!

Fantastic shot. IMO the reflections make it more interesting.
