hiya! :-D so I was trying to make 'postcards' of -ugly- Vlissingen (Flushing) starring Jonathan which happened to be a lot harder than I imagined ;-D idea was to have the town in the back, 'slightly' out of focus, gulls prominently standing- or flying around HI shutter speeds AND stopping down camera said: "well, you know what? .......!!!" ;-) i.e. if you want to use higher ISO values, buy a Sony camera... not!!! even got J. to cooperate and pose r. in front of the 10-20mm lens! only need to persuade him to stand or fly at the 'right' spot, not with his face in front of whatever needs to be visible. and to open his beak, sidewards, when the 'small' pilot boat appears so it looks as if he's going to grab it... right! (almost 'caught' that 1! doh) in short... messing up big time ;-D Oranjemolen (aka 'Orange mill') was 1st described in 1699, so was build earlier http://www.vlissingen.nl/Jong/Jong/Vroeger/Gebouwen-van-vroeger/Oranjemolen.htm stormy weather... we seem to have seals!!! Sony is a good camera, but has her own thoughts and you must try to convince her to do what you want, but usually gets stubborn. That's why I use Canon. about your picture, is fantastic, you got the right DOF and the pose is great. Johnatan Looks superb!
