And now for something different...
I felt like making a new figure tonight, so here he is.
Back somewhere around the later part of the 8th century, I had a relative named Sancho I of Gascony - my 32nd great grandfather. He was the duke of 'the Vascones' who were actually Basque. He was likely the son of Lupus de Gascony II. Sancho was a leader of the army of Louis the Pious. The army sacked and took Barcelona in 801. It is also thought that Sancho was possibly raised in the court of Charlemagne and was appointed as the duke of the Vascones or Gascognes by Charlemagne.
So, I thought it would be sort of fun to create a descendant of Sancho's who lives in maybe about the mid 15th century in Spain. Altayr however is not entirely Spanish. He is part Arabic and lives in Cordoba, when he's not out adventuring or plying his sword for payment. Just a bit of 'fantasy' - lol. Altayr is an alternate spelling of Altair, which means 'eagle' in Arabic. I thought it was fitting since the eagles of Spain are called the imperial eagle and is used as part of the royal crests.

He definitely has the look of those combined origins and the sweeping hair adds to the eagle effect. Dashing and powerful looking character. Excellent lights and skin tones defined by a great render.

Another character that I would gladly pay to have in my runtime. Like Arthur I agree that the bold sweep of his hair adds immense drama. And that gaze. I like dark toned characters with strong facial features as a default so he is very appealing. It is very impressive that you have such knowledge of your family history, and are not among the mirades of peasent hordes who migrated to America with no sense of their past. I know my family tree on fathers side back to 1500s which is pretty rare, but your's is a magnificent sweep of history.
