Description

Gloria - Order Of The Wolves. Inspired by the Game Of Thrones' full-length portrait promos. This image was a lot of work, there are a lot of displacements on the suit of armor that I needed to experiment with to get at a somewhat acceptable level (displacement in LuxRender take up a lot of resources and can actually tear up the mesh if too much is applied). Half are regular displacements and the other half are micro facets. Micro facets save on memory but are extremely slow to render. I am, also, rendering a version with a "Wolf by AM" by her side, but I think the wolf does not do the image justice, I think it doesn't look real. "Winter is coming...."
