Description

The three major tribes of sentients in the Universe are Djinn, Angels and Mortals. Once upon a time, Djinn freely fraternized with mortal man---Djinn's were known to take them as lovers, teachers, slaves, students, worshipers, and even food. Those who still exist today are extremely dangerous and best left alone... It is a very lucky mortal who walks off only cursed. There are six major tribes of Djinn. Jinn are the most common, and would frequently interact with mortals. Jann often make their homes in oases in the desert. Marid are few in number but very powerful. They tend to live near the coast. Ifrit are more common and tend to be violently opposed to mortals. Their allies, the Shaitan live in the mountains and underground. The Ghul are the most base and depraved of the them, and prey on both the living and the dead. Jinn can take the form of animals or people, and often do so when dealing with mortals. They are all capable of creating illusions or altering reality. Mortals were formed by the Creator from earth mixed with elements found there---Angels were created with thought, love and air--- but the Djinn...ahh...the Djinn were formed of smoke and fire... ************************** Val3dArt's Salome, Kalypso, my WIP. cya Laura

Absolutely beautiful work! The effects are fantastic! I love this image and of course the teachings of the Djinn. Very interesting! Your work never ceases to amaze me!
