Description
One of the many East European women that came to Italy to work as nurses is having her lunch break. The setting is the wall of the Venetian 16th-century bastion, later transformed into the garden of a palace destroyed in the early 20th century. Today this is the small park near my home, and a meeting point for different groups of immigrants. They usually tend to stay together according to their ethnic background, but this one chose to stay alone, and enjoy the spring sun.

while you do teeming complex images beautifully, sometimes you just combine a few very broad subjects and create your lushness that way. The combination, here, of that beautiful almost pinkish wall, with the woman (awash in sunny & pinkish hues), with that towering teeming tree above, makes this a minimalist composition with immense opulence. Your hues seem almost painterly. And the lone woman seems hardly alone because she's surrounded by such lushness. More beauty in this spring series, and another fav for me.

Great composition! The tree is outstanding, its color, and the other colors, too. And the lady under the tree adds something you can`t get for money, a special atmosphere. And your narrative is interesting, too!
