A little over a year ago, I posted this image: Cass: 5 Years. For today's post to make any sense, you'd best go read that one first. Today's post won't be quite so sentimental - it could be, but it would say exactly the same things! A year later, and nothing has changed. Well, maybe a few little things. I've started to push my photography a lot harder - last year, I was pretty happy with the photo I produced. This year, I'm convinced the latest effort is amongst the very best of my gallery. Next year? I'm feeling optimistic! For all that times remain the same, we stand at the cusp of change. This, the seventh year, is the end of an era - next year, Cass will graduate as a teacher, and the real world will beckon. If you'd told me 7 years ago that I'd be writing this post today, I'd have laughed. 6 years ago? I'd have hoped for the impossible, crossed every finger and started a horseshoe collection. Cassie - thankyou! Together, we've done six impossible things before breakfast, and the day is just beginning... To everyone else: Thankyou for your kind words, your support and recognition. This community inspired me to develop my photography, and I have never been more glad for that than today. Let light fill your day, - c.j
