Description

I went to the civil center here as they was sell crayfish inside and I got lost. My knees is was hurting so i was going to walk to the doors that was by me. Who ever desigign this building to me did not do a good job as you can not park close to the doors. I saw some one go into a side door so i went in there too. I was lost then. I walked thought the chore room but no one was there at the time, I walked down a hall way i never saw and came up on the back side of a backstage. I talked to the conductor who asked me if I was the photographer. i told him " No! i was a lost person" I ask him what going on and he told me. i ask if I could take photos as long as I stay out of the way. He say yes. I took some photos in back then I went out to the front and took some photos from the area where the people would be at. They was just trying to get things straight in what they playing. The big show was going to be the next night. it was going to be $20 to get in then. I missed the show as my brother was in from over seas. I did take photos that stop the action but i was looking for the srt side of photos. so I took this in slow speed. i was going to show the real photographer who did show up and i took his photo with the person that was in charge of the show here in town. They looked surpu to see me and wonder who i was. I told them "I was lost and he the real photographer " It a good line to tell people , plus it the truth. only bad side of this is i never did get to eat the crayfish as it was too late then. lol i ate a grill cheese sandwin then at my house. this is hand hold and i rested the camera on the back of a chair

It is toobad that you didn;t get to have any crayfish, but grilled cheese is good. Also you got a good energetic photo of the rehearsal as a consolation prize.

I think the blurred effect from the slow shutter speed really conveys the motion and energy of the conductor and orchestra. A great shot, Jock!
