Description
Rome, State Mint, school of art. Angora asked if I attend that school too. No, they select just 12 students each year for a three year course, among requests from all over the world, I am not that good, and besides I just turned 71, a bit over the maximum allowed age. We just visited the place, and I've been discovering several other very interesting places in Rome I didn't suspect existed. Got material for more posts ...

As art teacher, I'm not sure that development of self-creativity is the main artistic objective of such schools.

awesome... (IMHO 'self' creativity can only lead to masterpieces i.e. to being really able to 'make' whatever planned & express oneself when 'armed' with skills) TYSM!!! :-D too bad about that max. age! (!) -don't believe you're not that good, you have a keen eye for composition!-
