Les temps perdue. Memories of time past. But what in this scene brings it back? I know what you mean, and it is excellently rendered, but shouldn't something, like an old house (as I thought would see in the distance) or a smell, bring it on? Certainly original. Thanks.

Thanks all for your comments. They are always appreciated. Latchkey, I am not really satisfied either with the narrative (I guess you would call it) of this image, but I posted it because I thought it looked kind of cool. I had planned On him being in more of blizzard where he is cold, forlorn and hungry. I don't have the skills to do that yet, particularly with the Photoshop brushes that I used for the falling snow.
