Hi all, My wife and I recently bought ourselves a house. We' ve always been renting and finally decided to bite the bullet and placed a bid on this late 19th century house. It' s at about 500 yards from our current home in the village I was born and have lived since. When we finally got the key, I took lots of pictures to start making plans for the renovation. Certainly not artsy pictures of course, but I did like the one you see above, as it has some nice natural light and lovely textures. This room btw, will be my future workspace and I have the feeling it can inspire me to start painting again... The door next to the mantlepiece is a normal sized one, but looks like a toy against the large entrance doors in front. We hope to move into it before the end of May, but there' s still a lot of work to do, as you can imagine. Anyway, I hope you like the photograph too :0) Peter
