Description

Here's the first of two pic's of this "49" chopped Mercury Land Cruiser. I like the color and the decals on this one. Also this is another of my all time favorite body styles as I've always liked the "49" "50" & "51" Mercury custom's. Hope you like. Tomorrows Car:- "49" Mercury Pic 2.

"Cobra" comes to mind with Sylvester Stallone...Have a neighbor down the street from me that has a similar Merc...2 toned Gold and Black......A most definite lead sled...Always Loved this body style...Awesome Capture!

KnightWolverine is right. Sly's did look alot like this one and I think he made them popular for a whole new generation as well! ZZ Top did the same with Cadzilla.

This model always looks great chopped and sometimes you have to remind yourself it didn't come from the factory like this. Wonderful :)
