Description

After Mrs Bonga had got Zwoggle & Zlata settled in their rooms they decided to go for a walk in the moonlight. Zlata was a bit apprehensive as Zwoggle had been a bit secretive & she thought he was upto something. "Where can we really go on a walk in the dark." she asked Zwoggle. "Its just a little stroll, we won't go far." he replied. "Well why go at all, we have had a busy day & I am quite tired." Zlata said giving a big yawn. "Just 5 mins." pleaded Zwoggle. Zlata then knew something was afoot & although she didn't want to go, she thought to keep Zwoggle happy she would, then she could return to her room & bed, bliss!!!! So off they set. It was a beautiful night, the moon was shining & it was quite warm. "Just wait there a minute." said Zwoggle as they came towards a clearing. He toddled off leaving Zlata to wonder where he was going. "Don't leave me too long." she shouted after him. She was getting a bit jumpy, there were shadows of things all over. Zwoggle returned to her, "Now close your eyes & I will carefully lead you on. Zlata was a bit worried as she hadn't a clue where they would end up. "Trust me." said Zwoggle So he carefully led Zlata by the hand. "Now, there are just six steps to climb & then turn very carefully, I will make sure you don't fall." said Zwoggle. Zlata felt her way up the grassy steps & turned. Zwoggle let go of her had, "Now just wait a moment." he said. Zlata stood there for what seemed ages, she did wonder if this was a joke & Zwoggle had left her. There would be trouble if he had. (That I don't doubt, BB) "Right open your eyes now." called Zwoggle. As she opened her eyes she heard music playing & looked to her right & there was Malik, she recognised him from her dream. He was playing a lovely romantic tune & there in front of her was Zwoggle with a beautiful rose, in his mouth, yes his mouth. Zlata thought he looked a bit daft but didn't want to upset him. As she listened to Malik play, she felt a tingle run through her body, bless Zwoggle, he did good but the rose in the mouth was a bit daft she thought. Of course the girls were nearby, really wishing the friends would go home to bed as they themselves were looking forward to a good nights sleep :o) Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx Zwoggle - romiposer Roses - janeeden

Lovely image and story Barbara, yep Zlata can throw a wobbly when she gets mad so just as well Zwoggle did have something nice for her even if she thought he looks silly with the rose in his mouth.. Excellent work on this one!!!

Haven't read it yet but just wanted to tell you that you added your characters so well here, they just fit in. Oh and I noticed you made good use of the bonus roses too near the grave, and a great touch adding one to zwoggles mouth too. Just needs the whole thing to be a bit bigger so folks can take in the detail that's all, just another thing to tackle on Sunday lol. Back from the first comment to read now: As for the story, well you are the proverbial storyteller aren't you?
