Famiglia Cantharidae:
famiglia di Coleotteri cosmopolita, attivi principalmente nelle ore diurne sulle foglie di svariate essenze. Hanno il corpo allungato e non convesso, con tegumenti poco sclerificati (le elitre sono tenere al tatto) colorati vivacemente. Le larve si trovano nel terreno e sono principalmente predatrici o fitofaghe.

Family Cantharidae:
cosmopolitan family of beetles, active primarily during daylight hours on
leaves of various species. They have an elongated body and convex hulls with little sclerificati (the elytra are soft to the touch) brightly colored. The larvae are found in soil and are mostly phytophagous or predators.
