i do like hdr b&w's - more interesting to me than the color manipulation. 1 suggestion is to crop some off the bottom to move the horizon line dn [so as not to so evenly divide sky and earth] and to give more emphasis to the stone wall [which is lost somewhat with the even tonality.

Great composition with lots of interesting & contrasting textures. Reminds me of the classic Hollywood movies of the 30's & 40's - maybe something out of the B&W portion of "The Wizard of Oz"...
