Description

Well, now I have to tell you that this Chrysler Imperial back in the day was one of the largest cars ever built. This is a real land cruiser in every way. As a matter of fact one of the cars I owned about 20 or 30 some years ago was a 1972 Chrysler New Yorker the same color as this one and just as big. The trunk alone would hold 3 golf bags and carts and possibly 3 bodies to boot---just kidding---but it was hugh. As far as ride this car was very great for trips when gas was about 75 cents a gallon or less, a very smooth ride on the highway. and one of the best cars I ever owned. So this Imperial reminds me of that car. I hope you like it. As always all comments are welcome. Tomorrow's ride:-1937-Pontiac-Custom 5w Coupe.

Now you're talking. I've always loved these late 60s and early 70's land yachts, especially the 71 Chrysler 300 and Newports. More of these please :)

I had a 69 Chevy and was my first new car.the trunk in it was big enough almost live in.I drove a big Plymouth in the mid 70"s and had it up to 117 mph one day.then I noticed later that a couple of tires were bare outstanding capture

My mom owned one of these and we called it 'the bomb' (it didn't mean the same then as it does now, lol). A friend of mine owned a car that was a bit bigger...a `77 Lincon Continental. It was a street legal aircraft carrier! Great pic my friend!
