My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Ah... a boat. I was wondering about the title. Interesting - the hull seems OK, but the rest in the reflection is wavey. Interesting phenomenon. Nice photo. Keep up the good work! :-)

So wonderfully abstract - struggled to see it in the thumbnail! Clive

a wonderful way of showing us the 'subject', and then plunging into its reflections & underside. The pic is about the latter, and while these are clearly reflections, your image has rendered them a series of jagged, glassy webs, a network that trails the Bandit around whether the Bandit likes it or not. In fact, the reflections appear to be actual metal beams inside the water itself. (The only image I can give you is from scientific laboratories, where you see large metal frameworks in water, as in nuclear labs, etc.) A fine piece of seeing & presenting; and the blue swath---from center to right---is almost a splay of oil paint. In fact, the one bit of 'sheerness' is the boat at top & the pier/walkway at bottom...otherwise, it's about the underworld, and it's beautifully done. (Here---here's a shot of a nuclear reactor, with metal structures under water, here. Best I could do on short notice, lol...)
