The world of music lost a great one yesterday. Mankind lost a wonderful soul. Thank you for all you gave us.
I knew Levon was going to pass soon. So, I found this video interview of him from a few years ago. His voice was rough..He talked about his farm, his studio, and "The Midnite Ramble"..His battle with cancer. Then they cut to him playing. There's Levon, that great big grin on his face, laying down the backbeat..It brought tears to my eyes. At that moment, I remembered why I loved music so much..
