Hi all, I started playing with Bryce and have since moved on to Vue. Â I don't pump out pictures very quickly as being a father and husband has a way of keeping one busy. Â That said render times are getting shorter latley as my workstation technology gets better as well as my understanding of the programs.
Bryce is a great learning tool for budding 3D artists, its simple, free, easy to use, and imports many different file types. Â But as I used Bryce more I started to get frusterated with its limitations and eventually jumped ship to Vue. Â Vue also has a free version and is alot more in depth.Â
I hope you enjoy my art.

Thanks, this one was a fairly early bryce image. I experimented a ton trying to get a decent smoke to come out of the barrel. The volumetric "smoke" at the very top took so long to render I eventually settled on the good looking smoke at the top and the grey mist for the bulk.
