Description

Ghosts of you Touch The feel of you under my fingertips The warmth of you still on the sheets The slick wetness of you Sight clothes scattered across the floor lipstick prints on the rim of a glass The arch of your back, fingers gripping the sheets Sound soft trembling breaths as my fingers explore you sobbing delight as the passion explodes Smell Your perfume, lingering heavy in the air scent of passion, heavy and sweet Taste licking red wine mixed with sweat the taste of you still on my lips, honey and spice I seem to catch sight of the ghost of you, out of the corner of my eye but when I turn to look, you are gone.

Wonderful phrasing, beautifully written, lush and lovely. Might I make a small suggestion? Starting each verse with the sense you're describing stops the flow of the narrative for me. Your lines are long and undulating, and you've perfectly described the memory of each sense. Stopping to put a label on each one engaged my analytical mind and shut off emotion, made me think about five senses rather than simply enjoying the flow. Aside from that (which I TOTALLY get is my own preference), every word is perfect, every line sighs and sings, and I'm impressed as all getout with your writing ability. Excellent work!
