Description

my mom set this box up for the squirrels to use as a shelter. however, the female (nutmeg) has other ideas. the cardboard is perfect nesting material. so she was busy ripping off pieces so she could build her nest (under the shed). I'll post one more photo of Nutmeg working over this box she is the same one that was collecting the food from the feeder. Thanks for the comments and faves. Mom & Dad are going on vacation next week, so I get to open Treasure House all week so my home time will be very limited. Take care and have a great evening and day

My grandma back in the day used to have a pet squirrel that would bring the empty cob of corn and set it on the back steps when it wanted another one....lol.... Neat Capture Mike!

Great shot. You have very nice clean windows. On my way home last Thursday from work, a squirrel was in the middle of the road our house is on. He just kept standing there. I kept scooting up slowly trying to get him to move. We finally had to honk the horn to scare him out of the way. It was too funny. He reminded me of that commercial.

I find this really really cute squirrel! Your are quite large, the squirrels in Europe are smaller and the have shaggy ears. A great photo!
