it was an eerie morning - with claims of clear skies and warm temperatures. Looking at the skies, it appeared that there was no way that this could happen

Oh this is cool. What the heck was that one episode on the old Lost in Space we used to see in reruns? The Anti-World or whatever. There was an evil John and Don? That's what this reminded me of. I need an evil Judy Robinson. LOL! :)
