Description
As Zwoggle & Zlata were asleep in their rooms, Jasmine & Meadow decided to do a bit of exploring. They walked into the woods, taking in all the scents that were around. They came to a gap in the wall & Jasmine went through. Looking to her right she saw a small red kitten fast asleep on a blue stool. She went over but decided not to disturb it as it looked so comfy. (That must be a first for JB)
"Hello"
Jasmine turned in the direction the little voice had come from & sat there was a little grey kitten.
"Hello, who are you?" she asked
"I am Amy, have you seen a red balloon?" came the reply
"A red balloon?" asked Jasmine.
"Thats what I said. Haven't I seen you at Mrs Bonga's house. Are you staying there?" asked Amy.
"Yes we are, well sort of" said Jasmine looking round for Meadow.
Meadow had come to the gap in the wall & seen that Jasmine was talking to the little kitten & decide to lie down & take a break, she knew they could be there a while.
"So, have you seen the balloon." Amy asked.
"No but carn't you get another one? questioned Jasmine.
"That was the only one we had, Oh by the way that little kitten over there is Freddie. He decided to take a nap, as we have come quite a way. We live near Mrs Bonga." Amy told Jasmine.
Jasmine explained to Amy that her & Meadow weren't actually staying with Mrs Bonga but were keeping their eyes on their friends Zlata & Zwoggle, making sure they were not getting into any trouble & were safe.
"That is very kind of yooooou, look, quick, there is my balloon, can you catch the ribbon attached to it as it goes by, oh please try." Amy pleaded.
Jasmine lifted her paw but although she tried the balloon floated on by.
Amy too tried putting her little paw into the air but the balloon carried on.
"Oh well never mind." Amy said with a slight tremor in her voice. "It was Freddies balloon but I will just tell him that it has burst.
"I am so sorry I didn't catch it. Will you be ok getting back home, or would you like us to help you?" asked Jasmine.
"No thank you, we will be fine. I will let Freddie sleep awhile longer then we will set off for home." she replied.
"If you are sure it was nice meeting you." called Jasmine as she walked over to Meadow.
"I am sure we will meet again." Amy smiled.

You did a wonderful job on this adorable story Barbara. It's just a shame Amy wasn't able to catch the balloon for Freddie.. Really love the beautiful image as it went with this perfectly

Fantastic work Barb! What I want to know is does Jasmine really have her paw up like that did you do a little "digifiddling" here? If you did the re-arranging, you did a fabulous job of it, and if she held her paw like that herself, well you are amazing to have the camera and get that shot! Love the story you've written for the picture
