Description

A dedication for my friend Chipka. I enjoyed his night capture of a river in Chicago so much. So here is one for you Chipka. Also one to enjoy by every Renderosity member. Made use of a sturdy new tripod and mounted my camera on it. Made us of Aperture setting with the following settings. Aperture-F22,ISO-400,Shutter speed-32 seconds.The chimneys that you see is that of the old station that is out of commission long before i started to work at the power station in 1989. Venus is visible between the two chimneys. If you look at the bottom of the chimneys you do see light trails. It was peak traffic at the time that i took this capture.This is a view looking towards the west of Pretoria. Also made use of 2 second self timer.

This is an excellent POV Christo, I like every element of this dusk shot, the clouds look great as they wander slowly here causing a softening of the sky, you are doing great with night shots, congrats on the new pod, and invest in a cable release, you will find that it will have paid for itself 50 fold, with your first 5 captures man.
