Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

I should like a ride in the little ones! Wonderful contrasts.

I love those little colourful boats, and agree that they're much prettier than the big sleek streamlined ones. Excellent scene and capture!

I like the interesting arrangement of boats in your composition & the colors of the boats & the water are very appealing also - great work...

Wonderful POV and depth. Positioning the little boat in the foreground in relation to the cruise ship in the rear makes for a great shot.
