I came across these swans near Edmonton, Alberta (Tofield), but was unable to get close enough to get a really good photo. But then I've never even seen them even at this distance before. There were a lot of them, but they were all on the far side of the pond. So here is one of them....enjoy!

A Trumpeter Swan for sure and a nice shot! He has some grey still so I would say probably born last season, so one year old but full grown in size, perhaps around 25 lbs.
