Description
Venetian blinds shadow, cast upon my condo staircase/stairwell wall, captured 4/20/12, around 8:30 AM.
A ZOOM would be cool.
A favorite shot out of several I took on the stairs that sunny morning, and it was digifiddled, contrast-wise, to the extreme.
Ta-ta, thankx for coming aboard, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Cool shadows! Pretty good details Harry. I can see the cord for the venetian blinds and the window lock.

another of your fine indoor abstracts, with the simple fact of blinds, walls, and a few other objects that strike your eye. This one is mostly about blinds and their shadows (I love the dabs of red in the actual blinds portion), and you got a feeling of a big incline, not just because you shot on an angle, but because the blinds-shadows seem to incline wayyyy back and create a ghost image that's almost menacing. More morning work for you, and the morning shadows are brought out dramatically by your digifiddling (and your camera work). I'm a great fan of this series, and love that you're doing it all in simple swaths of your own home...real photographer's stuff! Fine work Harry, and I like how it all gets 'reddish' as we move towards the left edge...

I should always just follow Mark's comments to be able to say "What he said!" as I'm nowhere near as coherent as he is. This is a lovely piece of work, Harry; you know how I love plays of lines/angles, and I love how your fascination with shadows really pays off here.
