Description
Not the Arabia here on Earth; this one’s on Mars. Arabia Terra is a region there that covers an area as large as the United States. Located east of the Valles Marineris canyon system, Arabia’s landforms were created early in the planet’s history over three billion years ago. Over the course of two billion years later, this area became covered over by soil deposits, and then eroded away by Aeolian forces – that is, wind.
