About me ? Hmmm, ok, I am a Seaplane Pilot by profession, a photographer by passion and currently run Mine Control Room for the dollars. It pays way better than flying to answer the inevitable questions of why I don't fly seaplanes anymore. Oh and I get every second week off as well :). I have a love of exploring wild places, photography, gem hunting, boating, camping and many other outdoor activities :). I was born on Christmas Island but am not an Elf and don't work for Santa. I have lived in many places in Australia as well as Brasil, England and the Fiji Islands. Am I normal ?, probably not but i am enjoying my short stay in this existence and thats what really counts.
Am I an artist, I wish, but I sure am trying :). And thats all my little brain can think of right now

Perfect example of slow shutter photography. Is this the Barron River or maybe even the Tully?

Hello Martin! Great to see you posting! This is gorgeous - so tranquil! Your shutter speed was perfect to catch the movement of the water. Well done my friend!

oh such a gorgeous shot! Love the way that water just flows and looks so serene. Although hope you didn't go swimming there - we all know the curse of the Boulders! LOL
