Kia Ora Be Well
BIO
I have always loved painting, drawing, and photography since well before I was born. I also like widescreen format. Thankyou for taking the time to find out a little more. In order to capture the world we must first discover it. Photography is a great way to get yourself into some unusual places and some odd postures.

Not sure what you are saying- the Merlin was designed in Britian and was a superb engine used in several aircraft- the Mustang was designed in the USA. It was the first aircraft to use a laminar flow airfoil, which contributed both to its maneuverability as well as long range.

Beakbryce4 is correct. Should have checked the facts. According to Wikipedia the British Purchasing Commission specified the requirements to North American Aviation for the design and later construction. This enabled the British war effort to utilise American manufacturing capabilities. Wikipedia link gives a good read of the background and history. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_P-51_Mustang The main point is still valid - The Mustang is the product of a collaboration.
