Last night I mentioned a Thump in the night and said I would sort it out in the morning well as you can see its going to take a little longer than I thought. I planted it 25 or more years ago when it was about 4 feet tall it was about 35 feet when it fell, I had noticed it was not doing to well for a few years but never suspected this, fortunately it fell away from the house, It wouldn't have hit but we would have had a good view of the top branches from the living room window, It also missed a flowering cherry and another conifer.
