Hi again! Friends, thanks for your fine comments, your ratings and the fav! Feels good! Somebody wrote that some of the stone sculptures remain at old Maya sculptures. Yes, I think so, too, but others of the sculptures are settled in the theme "Watergod Neptune" and all stuff like fishes, crabs and lovely nymphs. The main reason could be a little bit more simple: Saxonian king August "the Strong" had a fine hobby: Girls, Girls, Girls... His strongness was legend, and although his sexual power and appetite.. We know countless erotic affairs and a bunch of maitresses, and I believe that all the fine ladies here were appetizers for the nights... The Zwinger was planned as a backyard of a fine chateau directly at the shore of the river Elbe. The Zwinger was thought as a playground for games, theatres, operas and stuff we today call "events". The Zwinger was finished, the chateau was never built. At its place there is the Dresden Semper Opera House now situated... Hope you like this fine stone ladies here!
