Holy cow! I love the way the tree branches give the bay window alien-looking hair. Somehow it made me think of Chip. That is some seriously over-the-top architectural detail, my friend. Excellent image! I love your postwork.

This is wonderfully Gothic, with all the shadows and light. That building, and especially the angle, gives it so much personality. Majestic with a bit of monstrous. Powerful work, Mark. CC

Mark, this is such an epic capture my friend. Everything about this is perfect and it has such a dramatic appearance. Carol was right on about the lighting and shadows as they combine to give it such a powerful aura.

This is so deliciously moody and I love the shadows and the "night time" coloration this has. It embodies all of the best elements of Gothic stuff, in terms of mood, rather than architecture, but it's got the architectural Gothic thing going as well. I love the cropping and the actual sense of moonlight filtered through a moderately cloudy night and so the moonlight seems intermittent. This is completely spellbinding, incredibly super work. As is well known, I have a lot of catching up to do but I'll be doing that as soon as possible.

Strikingly scary! That doorway is capable of engulfing trembling maidens (such as myself!) and forcing them to endure delightful unknowns. Superb, Mark!

Yes, it looks spooky with the deep deep contrast and the dark blue sky and the moonlight on this awesome building. It makes me think about your deep and sometimes very strong ink drawings. OHH!! This would look Guu-reat in an ink drawing/painting Mark. Love it.

Sterling application of one or more of your distortion filters, in creating this dark Batman Gotham City type scene, Mark! The Joker could be lurking behind one of those architectural abutments.

A very dramatic capture from a great POV and it really does look so spooky. Great architecture really accentuated in this shot and the branches are a great touch. Well spotted again, you really do make your camera talk.

Haunting in a good way:) I don't imagine there are any filters here...just some very special/painstaking postwork. I love the mood...and the light. Well done.

EEEEKKKK!!! Man, if I passed this house at night, I'd be scared silly. It just exudes creepiness; wouldn't surprise me to hear the that kid ran up to the door on a dare. Great shot of what's probably a stunning house!!

Fantastic! I love the creepy postwork - and I hope you didn't have to pay compensation to the owners for scaring everybody away from their home...???
