a very sensitive capture, with its yellows & pinks gently portrayed and the delicate "floppiness" of the petals ensitively captured as well. It's odd that while I've drawn roses, I've never, ever been able to do a good photo of them, which makes me all the more appreciative of those who capture them with genuine sensitivity. Beautifully done, and simple & eloquent.

Gorgeous Richard!....after waiting all spring for mine to bloom with periodic frosts and freezes to have last nights hail pretty much destroy all the newly opened buds in one swoop...Looks like this years garden is starting out on the wrong foot....But I have patience....(smiles)...

Beautiful capture and motif, Richard. It remind me of an legendary old song from my childhood. My mother sometimes listened to it on single record. called...The yellow rose of Texas....written by J.K in 1858. And here it is..a yellow rose from Texas...Very beautiful.
