Our mom and pops hardware still has a working rotary dial phone pay phone....More of a conversation piece but it works and I have used it....(smiles)...

Oh, how cool, Mike! But what kind of alien device is this, anyway?? Even more amazing.... It's clean with no graffiti, half eaten sandwiches, half empty wine bottles, or funny latex things laying on the little shelf.. I remember years ago when I was doing field service work.... These things were everywhere..... Can't even begin to remember how many quarters I lost in these things.... This must be one of the 10 or so still in existance.

What a rare find with the new technology of cell phones these have been outdated and removed in many areas. Aw I remember .25cents for local calls and running out of time on long distance, only to hear the live operater asking for more money. That was part of the good ole days!!

I seem to remember... in that dim fog of recollection ... of using these... seems to me they always wanted money.... and more money... reception wasn't that good... couldn't text or email... no chance for surfing the net.... couldn't take a picture either..... hmmmm. (cool shot anywho! gave me a laff!)
